lander, wyoming fly fishing

Thursday, April 29th, 2010

the fishing is steady. come out and enjoy it. the water on the wind is going up! which Im glad to hear. makes running the boat with clients easier. I ran it the other day at 835 cfs and it was skinny. half day of work tomorrow on the ranch then off to the river to fish. I have been busy tying up a storm in preparation for upcoming trips. I stopped by Rocky Mountain Dubbing Company on the way back from the ranch. that place is stocked with everything in terms of tying. I went upstairs and saw where they dye and package all of the tying materials. they make some great products and I tie with their materials because they are local. you should too.

We’re BACK!

Thursday, February 4th, 2010

Sorry it has been so long. it has been a busy past month dealing with wyoming bureaucrats in regards to permits and getting everything lined up for the beginning of the 2010 season. We have also been extremely busy chasing around a landowner trying to get private access forms filled out for a new private float on a small river. Everything is finally coming together.

I’m going back east for the month of February which should be interesting and hectic. I won’t be doing much fishing there, so I am trying to get a few days out of my system these next four days. Today I am going to the lower madison to show a buddy how to pin fish with his new setup. Welcome to the dark-side Bryce. Friday will hopefully bring a Missouri run….

Keep an eye out for the new site and logo for both the blog and It should be up around mid February.
