quick report from Steve B.

Monday, December 20th, 2010

The Canyon. Never got to 20 degrees but I had a blast. ALL WILD FISH. I guess too damn cold for the brooders! I also found out I can fly fish with my duck hunting gloves! So cold I blew apart a reel from the continual dunking to keep it working. Ice built up inside and unscrewed the center bearing. Everything blew apart in my hands when a big bow ripped across the river. Had to just grab the spool and break off the fish. Lost the parts in the river. Did what anyone in my position would have done, went back to the truck for another rod and caught a couple more before the sun went down. Best part, I had the entire place to myself. My wife says there is a reason for that. :)

it was an amazing fall for us at 307 outfitters to say the least. these are a few of the biggest fish we landed this fall season. we have to sort thru the archives to find more photos and then we will post a  2010 recap of the biggest fish from the start of the season to the end. we are happy with the outcome of our first season. there is always room for improvement and growth. we are looking forward to next season and many more to come after that. with the end of 2010 nearing we welcome 2011 and what is shaping up to be another fantastic season. we are happy to announce that we will now offer lodging for clients at the Broken Anvil Ranch outside of Lander, Wyoming which means not only will our guest have world class fishing but now world class accommodations on a 7,000 acre working cattle ranch at the base of the Wind River Mountains. we will go into greater detail after the new years. until then enjoy the photos and keep an eye out for a big update of the big fish of 2010. until then happy holidays and tight lines! Capt. Charles
